So this was our first married Halloween together. It was fun. Yesterday (Sunday) we went over to some friends house and ate dinner and helped their daughters carve pumpkins. It actually seemed like I knew what I was doing. I carved the top of the pumpkin perfectly and I made the eyes pretty good too. The triangle inside the triangle. We didn't take pictures of that but it inspired me to go to the story and buy pumpkins. It was ridiculous. The first place I went the smallest pumpkin was 11 dollars and it ranged to 23 dollars. Then I went across the street to Albertson's and got 2 big pumpkins for 6 bucks. I cut the top off and cleaned it out so Brynne would be all ready to cut it when she got home from work. It was a pretty sweet deal. So we started drawing our design on paper and then on the pumpkin. Then we cut it. They look pretty legit. Then we sat around watching the amazing race with the front porch life off so people wouldn't come knocking on the door. I know kind of a buzz kill. Right? Oh well.
