Since Josh and I went to Disneyland on our honeymoon we decided to get ourselves the annual pass so we can go as many times as we want to throughout the year. Well we received an email that on Monday November 14th Disneyland was going to have a special event for pass holders to jump start their Christmas season. The event would include extended park hours, special food, and a meet and greet with the characters. I love Disneyland, I love Christmas, and I absolutely love Christmas at Disneyland. It is the best! I was so excited to get to go. We decided to drive up really early on Sunday morning and then drive home really late Monday night so we get 2 days at Disneyland and only have one night in a hotel. It was a great time to go to Disneyland because the park really wasn't that crowded and we never had to wait too long for a ride. Monday night was even better because the park closed at 8 and we got to stay until midnight! We could basically just walk onto any of the rides that we wanted to go on. That night we also got to eat bacon cheddar flavored POPCORN. This was a big deal for me because Josh hates the smell of popcorn so I haven't eaten any in a really long time so that was fun. We also got to watch the amazing firework show they put on and experience the "snow" after. Disneyland also has a great ice cream shop we always go to.

We got to do some other pretty fun things while we were in Cali too. Of course we had to make a stop at Chick-fil-a!!!!
Josh's brother Michael is serving his mission there too. He comes home next month and Josh let him know we were there. Michael called Josh and asked if we could stop by a church building and pick up his bike and a few other things he won't be needing so he doesn't have to worry about figuring out how to get them home. That was a fun side adventure and we can't wait to get to see him in December. The building ended up only being like 10 minutes away from our hotel. This is the church building..
Back at Disneyland for the special event....
I love the castle
Last one.... This trip was a great jump start to this time of year. It is my favorite. I love everything about it and am so excited to get to share it all with Josh.
Oh and while we were there we also met up with James and Rachel Barker for dinner. I didn't take any pictures of this, but we had so much fun just hanging out and talking. We enjoyed eating a ginormous pizza with yummy breadsticks. It was a fun-filled couple of days.
